Pinball hd collection pinballx11/21/2023 RECOMMENDED BY APPLE IN "WHAT'S HOT" AND "WHAT WE'RE PLAYING"! Great fun when it’s working well, but be wary of the game breaking bugs on some tables.#1 PLACE IN USA TOP PAID APPS DURING THE FIRST SALES DAY! Virtually no updates to the app is a bad sign that the publishers aren’t going to fix any of the many problems plaguing this pinball game. This runs through your ball savers quite quickly, but is less of an issue once you purchase the table to remove the ads. Luckily you can test each table out as many times as you want before you buy, so I would highly recommend having a few runs through before buying a table to see how it plays, catch any bugs on some of the tables, and see if you enjoy it.Īds are also handled really poorly, as well as ratings, forcing you off the table while not pausing your game. In all of the guides the language is confusing, looking like it was written by non-English speakers, leading to some confusion on how each table works. Some tables have detailed breakdowns of what each bumper does and how to score additional points, whereas others are just screenshots of the table with no information whatsoever. The quality of the ‘guides’ screen is also all over the place. I’ve had game breaking issues with Vikings and Pirates if you lose a ball on Vikings then the mission pole cannot be raised again, severely limiting your progress, and there is a spot in Pirates where the ball can get stuck and is unable to be released, forcing a restart. Lots of great tables, but quite a few have some problems. Tap on the "electronic caption" at the top of the screen to pause or resume your game.Shake your iPad to realistically nudge the pinball table, but not too much or you'll tilt.Tap ANYWHERE on the left side of screen to control the left flipper and ANYWHERE on the right side to control the right flipper.Tap on Play button to start game on current table. Tapping on a game's fly-over screen shows/hides main menu. You can choose between red-cyan, green-magenta or yellow-blue lenses. Stereoscopic imaging option (requires anaglyph eyeglasses).Camera tilt only works in landscape mode. Camera tilt brings dimensionality to the games offering a simulated 3D effect where the image changes depending upon how you tilt the iPad.Unique soundtrack with atmospheric music, sound effects and voices. At the end of each game you are prompted to enter your name and have your score included. Swiping right brings up a table of local high scores and further tapping brings up high scores from copies sold throughout Make sure to swipe left and right when viewing since the instructions don't fit on one screen. Tap the circled "I" at the bottom right of each table to get a display detailing instructions and descriptions of the features of each table. A wonderful 3D engine that does true justice to the graphic capabilities of the iPad.If you activate the screen orientation switch, the game only plays in portrait mode. This can only be played when holding the iPad with the button on the bottom. Portrait mode gives you a flying-table view with the camera panning and zooming over the action. The games can be played in either landscape orientation with the button to the left or right of the screen. Landscape mode shows a full table view. 10 pinball tables with unique graphics, instructions, missions system, locations and characters.
